CTC has an opportunity for a qualified Stormwater Engineer in Crystal City, VA offices or in the Aberdeen, MD area.
STORMWATER ENGINEER
Primary Responsibilities: The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a customer focus, delivering excellent technical results, engaging with world-class experts and remaining on the leading edge of technology that has helped CTC grow in the environmental and sustainability market. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years experience working stormwater projects, water resources, water conservation, drinking and/or waste water issues. They should also have experience working with both clients and regulators. He/she will be responsible for developing conceptual designs, playing an active role in project development and execution, communicating and briefing Project Team and Management personnel, fostering strong client relationships with Government stakeholders and providing expertise in stormwater engineering and water resources to project(s). The qualified candidate will have on-site interaction at Army installations throughout the Chesapeake Bay watershed, performance-based business development through quality technical work and program building with clients, and provide leadership in executing projects in the areas of stormwater engineering, water resources, water quality, and wastewater.
Basic Qualifications:
. Bachelor of Science in Environmental, Civil, Agricultural, Biological Systems Engineering, or related degree (advanced degree preferred), and at least 5 years of related experience. Professional Engineer (PE) license (VA, MD, DC, PA) preferred. . Knowledge of federal and state stormwater regulations and Best Management Practice (BMP) construction requirements, particularly focused on the Chesapeake Bay watershed. . He/she will have demonstrated basic computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite) and CAD and GIS skills preferred. . Demonstrated experience leading stormwater and/or water resource projects, working with regulators, and experience working stormwater and/or water resource projects with the Army or other services preferred.
Clearance: U.S. Citizenship required.
