Job Description

STG International iscurrently accepting resumesfor qualified Staffing Specialists supporting the Department of Health and Human Services, National Institutes of Health agency in the following areas: Washington, DC; Bethesda, MD and Rockville, MD.
This posting is for future openings – no current available positions available.
Responsibilities:
* Assists in conducting recruitment for occupations under the General Schedule, Alternative Personnel System, Federal Wage System, Federal Wage Grade pay systems through printed solicitations as well as onsite recruiting at appropriate venues including job fairs, colleges and universities, and related associations.
* Conducts job analysis to determine key skills and expertise needed to perform duties of vacant position. With skill and knowledge using an Automated Hiring system, such as Quick Hire, USA Jobs, Hiring Management (powered by Monster Government Solutions), prepares vacancy announcement including targeted applicant questions to accurately assess experience and expertise resulting in the referral of the best qualified candidates for a particular vacancy.
* Reviews applications to make qualification determinations resulting in a Roster of Eligibles.
* Uses delegated examining and merit promotion procedures to ensure accuracy of selection certificate.
* May assist selecting officials in developing interview questions.

Required Skills

* Must have knowledge in USA Staffing and USAJOBS.
* Must have knowledge in QuickHire, Resumix and/or AVUE.
* Must have knowledge of NIH or HHS and its culture.
* Must be experienced operating at NIH should know and understand all deliverables.
* Master user of MS Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

* Must have 5+ years of experience in federal staffing
