Sr Manager Compliance
Senior Manager HR Compliance is responsible for participating in the ongoing development and implementation of EEO/Affirmative Action strategies through policies, programs, training, initiatives and interaction with the OFCCP in successful audit defense. Position reports to the Director Corporate Enterprise Compliance as well as to the IIS Business. Incumbent is member of the Corporate Compliance Management Team.
Compliance Job Responsibilities:
Works with all levels of management and HR to lead efforts that will embed compliance into the enterprise and business policies and practices and surge capabilities across the enterprise.
Prepares Affirmative Action Plans and utilizes data analysis to determine program effectiveness and compliance status. Recommends actions to further compliance based on analysis of AAP data.
Collaborates with HR, business leaders and the Office of General Counsel on internal self audits, employee relations matters, reductions-in-force and EEOC complaints.
In coordination with the Office of General Counsel manages external OFCCP audits including the preparation of responses and the coordination with federal and state agency representatives.
Keeps current and abreast of developments in EEO legislation and OFCCP regulations that may impact strategies and actions to ensure company's compliance.
Provide advice as the subject matter expert on various areas of compliance.
Provides ongoing education and advice to HR staff responsible for implementing compliance strategies, programs and practices.
Reviews and/or conducts investigations of discrimination and harassment complaints in partnership with the Employee Relations team and proposes recommendations for resolution.
Other Job Responsibilities:
Serves as a resource and strategic partner to enterprise and business entities by delivering presentations and training and participating on panel discussions and in facilitated meetings.
Serves as an external representative of Raytheon in professional associations and community programs.
Supports the enterprise diversity and inclusion strategy.
Where appropriate coordinates the measurement and reporting on the progress of diversity initiatives consistent with the requirements of the company's affirmative action plans.
Experience, Knowledge and Skills:
At least 15 years of proven EEO/Affirmative Action experience and knowledge of Federal, State and Local laws and regulations. Diversity and inclusion experience required.
Ability to recognize and leverage opportunities to drive consistent and uniform enterprise compliance
as well as identifying processes that can/should be unique because of a Business need.
Proven project management skills with a demonstrated ability to act responsibly in a fast paced environment.
Strong influencing and persuasion skills and capability to collaborate with company leadership and interface effectively with external enforcement agency personnel.
Working knowledge of statistics and ability to analyze data and translate into convincing reports and recommendations.
Strong interpersonal, teaming, advocacy, problem solving and presentation skills.
Ability to travel within the US as necessary.
Ability to develop others.
Required Education:
Bachelors Degree required, Masters or JD preferred
