Our client is seeking a Sr. Financial Control who will:* Be responsible for the provision of timely, accurate and reliable financial information* Produce financial information for inclusion in board reports, news releases, and public financial reporting* Be responsible for the preparation and posting of general ledger journals, posting of accruals, managing and controlling the fixed assets accounts, capital expenditures and payroll accruals* Provide resolutions to an extensive range of complicated problems * Ensure solutions are innovative, thorough, and practicable* Work under limited direction * Independently determine and develop approach to solutions* Evaluate work upon completion for adequacy in satisfying objectives* Represent the organization as the principal customer contact on contracts and often performs project leadership role* Interacts with senior customer personnel on significant technical matters frequently requiring coordination across organizational linesThe candidate must have: * 5 to 7 years of relevant experience * Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance * Ability to work independently and with limited direction to determine and develop approach to solutions * Understanding of controls and SOX documentation requirements * Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Access
