Senior Financial Manager (SAP)
The consultant will serve as a Senior Financial Manager and will be responsible for independently working with general oversight from team lead on financial statement preparation, account reconciliations, related data mining and report generation, audit readiness projects, and providing advice and coordination with other business cycle staff with respect to their related general ledger accounts. The consultant will also document processes and internal controls, develop related policies and procedures, and assist in developing related control cific Qualifications:* CPA, CIA, CGFM, or CDFM is desired* Minimum 5 years of work experience in federal government financial statement preparation and related reconciliations* DOD financial management experience is desired* A minimum 5 years of experience in SAP accounting system * SAP ECC 6.0 experience; familiarity with SAP Financial Tables and CommandsSAP system data mining and report generation* SAP Financials Solution Consultant (MyERP 2005 Certification is a plus)* SAP Certification is strongly desired* Strong Access / Excel skills* Ability to analyze data and pay attention to detail* Ability to clearly communicate technical information to others* Experience in Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) or OMB A-123 implementation requirements, approaches, and industry interpretation* Experience developing SOX or A-123 project / program plans and assisting in remediation efforts, designing and executing testing strategies, and developing documentation* Experience in detailed audit preparation for operational, financial, and/or IT audits is desired* Project / Program Management experience* Microsoft project skills* Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) is desiredApplicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
