-Perform financial analyses and develop PowerPoint communications for business unit management to aid in making financial, operational and other business decisions. -Play project lead role on specific analytical project and potentially provide guidance to less senior analysts. -Drive development of business cases. -Confer with management and staff of other units to track progress of efficiency initiatives and determine associated savings. -Develop queries to obtain financial data from data warehouses. -Assess data retrieved for data integrity for analytical purposes; scrub, structure, sort and/or segment data for further analysis by self or others. -Financial Analysts may also participate in the development and implementation of consequent financial strategies as well as supervise or train less experienced analysts. -Analysts at this level are expected to conduct the more complex financial analysis, analyze proposals, interpret financial impact and make recommendations. -Individuals will be responsible for conducting detailed interviews with SVP, VP, and Director level personnel, completing questionnaires, and asking and understanding probing and clarifying questions.
