Operations Research and Systems Analysis/Secret clearance/Arlington VATracking Code5449-237Job Description Individual will support the HQDA CIO/G-6 IRI Directorate, Program Integration Division, Economic Analysis Branch. Responsible to provide the HQDA Chief Information Office, G-6 with Information Technology (IT) business and cost analysis support, for directed projects to assist the CIO/G-6 IRI Office (SAIS-ZR) in the exercise of its responsibility as the primary office within CIO/G-6 for producing a C4/IT plan, program, and budget to ensure that critical Army C4/IT needs are adequately resourced. Candidate will be co-located with CIO/G6 IRI Offices at either Pentagon or in Crystal City at the Taylor Building (aka NC3). Specific Duties Includes but are not limited to:
* Provide business and cost analysis support for directed CIO/G6 projects and liaison with Deputy Assistant Secretary Army, Cost and Economic Analysis (DASA-CE). * Manage IT efficiencies and program performance measures. * Perform a broad-range of studies in areas relating to cost, statistical, operational and economic analysis of information technology (IT) initiatives/programs and requirements. * Conduct reviews for validity of the methodology used in economic analyses supporting decisions by the CIO/G6 in support of HQDA decision processes. * Perform other duties as assigned. * Provide direct cost analysis / business case support to CIO/G6 designated project leader. Provide follow-up support as needed with corrective actions as appropriate to finalize the Cost Benefit Analysis (CBA) package. * Develop and administer surveys and data calls in support of cost benefit analysis products. * Develop Future Year Defense Plan based (PROBE level of detail) cost and efficiency recovery plans. This position is contingent upon customer approval and/or contract awardRequired Skills * Financial management/operations research experience with the DoD or the Army * Demonstrated experience conducting financial research and analysis * Strong excel skills * Ability to communicate clearly and concisely orally and in writing * Ability to act with minimum direct supervision * DoD Secret clearanceRequired Experience * No less than 15 years of Financial Management/Operations Research experience in the DoD or the Army * Bachelor's Degree (required) * Masters Degree (preferred)Job LocationArlington, VA USPosition TypeFull-Time/Regular
