Parsons/MAI is looking for an experienced Office Management/Staff Officer Support - Office Management/Staff Officer Support - (Specialist) to independently perform a wide range of functions and tasks, which require vision, leadership, and proficiency in developing, explaining and implementing policy. The skill of problem identification, analysis, and resolution is central to the effective conduct of their activities as is the ability to work from an Agency perspective. Provides general or specialized administrative support to NGA offices and programs. They develop pertinent information and communicate it to varied audiences (e.g. NGA, DoD, IC, Federal Government, Congress, the media, the public, the international community, and private industry) in a timely and appropriate manner. May provide other administrative duties listed ( scheduling and coordinating meetings, calendars, and events; gathering, inputting, and retrieving electronic data; maintaining files and folders; researching and analyzing information and data to prepare reports, presentations, and papers; prepares routine correspondence in accordance with NGA standards; prepares and distributes Briefing and Read Ahead materials; maintaining office supplies, initiating equipment trouble tickets or replacement, and coordinating office moves), but would be less than 40% of their time.
This is a proposal effort and pending award is anticipated to be available approximately 01 January 2012.
Qualifications: - Bachelors Degree or equivalent
- 11 to 14 years of specialized experience
- CLEARANCE: A current TS clearance with SCI access is required.
- Skills and abilities necessary to provide COCOM and Joint Staff Subject Matter Expertise Staff Support.
- Ability to substantively provide leadership and active participation in COCOM Readiness Assessments and Intelligence Campaign Planning.
- Familiar with METRICS with application to COCOM Operational Plans and contingencies.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills at varying levels within the organization.
- Working knowledge of the multiple COCOM AORs and how to travel in the area.
- Knowledge of process improvement techniques for improving customer support.
Desired Skills:
- At least five years of intelligence campaign planning experience
- Strong presentation and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent writing skills.
- Familiar with the US Intelligence Community
- Strong computer skills and demonstrated proficiency on PC platforms.
- Working expertise in using Microsoft Office Suite.
