Mission Operations Planner\Scheduler 3\4
Position requires current SSBI/SCI security clearance with Full-Scope Polygraph. The Mission Operations Planner/Scheduler is responsible for planning and scheduling of activities performed for the operation of a complex real-time system. Candidate should have experience in de-confliction of system assets and resources for a 24x7 operational system. Candidate coordinates the near-term schedule for an operational system and supports re-planning for contingency and emergency operations. Candidate must have the ability to adjust to changing priorities, multiple demands and crises. Candidate is required to obtain system operations certification. Candidate must have strong analytical skills and demonstrate strength in attention to detail. Familiarity with Unix and Windows environments required. Candidate also participates in the development of engineering processes, methods and tools. This position is not a master scheduler or MS Project type position. It is a certified operations position that provides planning and scheduling functions utilizing custom software. The certification required has knowledge based learning and on-the-job training provided.

Typical Education/Experience
Level 3 - Degree and typical experience in engineering classification: Bachelor's and 5 or more years' experience, Master's degree with 3 or more years' experience or PhD degree with experience. Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry. ABET is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard. Level 4 - Degree and typical experience in engineering classification: Bachelor's and 9 or more years' experience, Master's with 7 or more years' experience or PhD with 4 or more years' experience. Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry. ABET is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
