Insurance Analyst (Loan Servicing Specialist 3)
Responsible for responding to written and phone inquiries from customers, insurance agents, external vendors, internal personnel regarding loans. Functions include: reviewing loan documentation terms and conditions for insurance requirements; monitoring noncompliant insurance coverage; force placing insurance; monitoring loan requests; researching and analyzing problems and recommending solutions; coordinating loan disbursements; document imaging and management; reviewing loan data integrity reports; updating loan data; ensuring all procedures are in compliance with agency, internal controls and company policies.
Basic Qualifications: 6+ months experience in customer service, loan administration, collections, or sales environment.
Minimum Qualifications: - Familiarity with insurance terms and related documents - Strong analytical skills - Proficient using Microsoft Office products, in particular Word and Excel with capabilities of querying data from systems.
Preferred Skills: - Self motivated - Strong interpersonal skills - Minimum of 2 years mortgage servicing experience - Minimum of 5 years insurance industry experience - Knowledge of Property Insurance Forms Acord Forms - Knowledge of Fannie Mae & Freddie Mac servicing guidelines - Familiarity with McCracken Servicing System, Filenet imaging system, CMG Insurance Application and Marshall & Swift calculations
