Applies federal Benefits regulations, policies, procedures and terminology; provides guidance to HR reps regarding Benefits transaction. Ability to interpret policy. . Research and resolves complex problems regarding employee Benefits transactions and coordination with other teams, or HR staff members. . Initiates and maintains communications with HR Office staff, client organizations, employees, etc., performs a wide variety of complex actions such as: Process History Corrections (HCUP) and Benefits actions in EPIC/EmpowHR system, and red pencil; review employee's record for issues. . Technical Competency - Automated Personnel & Payroll System: Utilizes automated human resources systems (payroll and/or personnel) to accomplish daily work including troubleshooting data inconsistencies, processing routine and unusual assignments, retrieving data for reports and generating work products . Project skills desired. . Business Acumen required; ability to interact with the client on a regular basis. . Performs research, conducts analysis of the employee's record, and reviews record for accuracy. . Ability to communicate verbally and written. .
