H.S Band and Elementary Music Teachers
Currently, we are hiring for a High School band teacher and elementary music teacher. We are looking for highly dedicated educators who will bring a "whatever it takes" attitude to helping children succeed.
Major responsibilities and duties:
- Plan and deliver instruction for assigned music courses. This includes preparing lesson plans, unit plans, etc.
- Evaluate students' work in music theory and provide feedback on their performance level
- Purchase and inventory the instruments, music books, and supplies
- Coordinate differentiated lessons for students based on need and instrument
- Hold at least one concert per academic year
- Foster a positive environment that is motivational to beginning and advanced students
- Seek appropriate professional development opportunities related to music
