Assuming this role, the selected candidate will perform the following functions: * Focus on assertion of the Statement of Budgetary Resources (SBR) to further assessment and implementation of necessary internal controls* Continue to make progress with corrective actions identified during the Financial Improvement Program (FIP) effort and sustain those corrective actions as it relates to Accounts Payable (A/P), Accounts Receivable (A/R), Plant, Property and Equipment (PPE)* Continue testing of the discovery effort and expectation of assertion* Performance in option years may cover different segments but will require similar FIP audit readiness tasks* As segments reach audit-ability standards sustainment will be required.* Support the client with respect to the FIP in all aspects of financial management.* Continue identified remediation and improvement efforts. * Initiate new remediation efforts and support initial implementation, including training and pilots.* Sustain efforts through structured testing on implemented procedures and selected FIP identified priorities for Working Capital Fund commands, and update be considered for this position, candidates must have experience in a similar role or they must possess significant knowledge, experience, and abilities to successfully perform the responsibilities listed.
