Position Summary: Directly responsibility for all supervisors, ware-washers, runners and night cleaners working in the Stewarding Department. Reports any and all maintenance issue to the Engineering department with the use of “Synergy” Keeps proper records of all china, Glass and Silver Inventories, Assist the Executive Chef with regards to purchasing recommendations to maintaining proper inventories of silver, china, glassware and other accessories /> Make routine inspections of the heart of the house and takes corrective actions as necessary. Assisted in the movement of food and equipment, during periods of peak demand. Maintain accurate inventories on operating supplies, initiating purchase requests and storing deliveries as required.
Selects candidates for hire and is involved in the orientation process. Coaches, reviews and assesses all associate for peak performance. Prepare disciplinary notices to improve performance or document for termination.
/>Maintains all schedules, attendance logs, “Kronos” time keeper schedules and associated payroll reports. Completes all payroll and paid time off and vacations schedules
Attend all applicable meetings and training seminars. Conduct training to develop and improve associate technique.

The Ideal Candidate for this Position
Must be able to speak, read, write and understand the primary language(s) used in the workplace. Must be able to read and write to facilitate the communication process. Requires good communication skills, both verbal and written. Must possess basic computational ability. Must possess advanced computer skills. High school or equivalent education required. 3-5 years of previous experience in a Stewarding Management role is desired in a high volume hotel setting of at least 10 million dollars.
