Location and team KEMA is seeking KEMA is seeking a program evaluation project manager to be based in our Fairfax, VA office. This individual will be expected to be a contributor/manager of energy efficiency and/or demand response program evaluations. The successful candidate will manage projects, mentor staff, provide technical expertise, and interface with important clients.
Tasks may include
• Managing studies involving survey research, field data collection, market data analyses, and engineering measurements. • Managing a team of consultants and/or subcontractors. • Supervising, training, and mentoring a team of technical consultants, engineers, and analysts. • Leading teams to collectively complete tasks on time and under budget. • Tracking and reviewing project deliverables to ensure timeliness and quality. • Presenting the methodology and results of the evaluation through written reports. • Managing to client expectations and building client relationships. • Supporting business development opportunities and proposal writing.
What we're asking • Bachelor or graduate degree in technical/research discipline such Applied Social Sciences, Economics, or Engineering required. • Graduate degree in Business Administration or Management a plus. • 5 years experience managing program evaluation projects. • Experience planning and managing research projects in a consulting environment. • Demonstrated ability to manage clients, staff, and tasks to quality, budget, and deadlines. • Strong written and oral English communication skills. • High proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel. • Experience in behavioral/market research and/or statistical/econometric analysis preferred. • Advanced coursework or certification in project management beneficial. • Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.
