Key Role: Serves as an IT strategy advisor and technology consultant working closely with senior-level DoD Action Officer and Executive clients to provide high level technical guidance, strategy development, and partner/stakeholder facilitation support to the Enterprise Services and Integration (ES&I) Directorate on behalf of the DoD Chief Information Officer. Supports and collaborates with clients in DoD CIOs in a full range of activities to develop strategies, policies, reference architecture, Concept of Operations (CONOPS) and other DoD-level guidance to address future-state Information Enterprise capabilities and the common IT services that enable them. Conducts DoD, Federal, and industry outreach as needed, brings DoD stakeholder communities together, develops high level implementation plans, addresses governance needs, and supports intra-departmental collaboration. Advises government client leads on the DoD IT environment, processes, and systems. Forms key partnerships with clients and industry partners to develop solutions to complex problems, and communicates these to affected DoD communities. Supports and leads meetings, briefs plans and strategies related to Enterprise Services, Cloud Computing, Information Sharing, or Identity and Access Management (IdAM). Basic Qualifications: - 2 years experience with the Department of Defense focused on enterprise IT issues related to: Enterprise Services, Information Sharing, or Identity Management - Understanding of basic Internet networking, web applications, and web services design architectures (e.g., HTML5, AJAX, HTTP, SAML, etc.) - Ability to work independently, and to work with small teams (2-4) in a lead or support role - Possession of excellent problem-solving and analytical skills that can be applied to fast turn-around assignments; - Possession of excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to provide samples of written work products

Additional Qualifications: - Experience in developing formal DoD or Federal agency issuance, policy and guidance related to enterprise IT capabilities - Demonstrated technology background in service-oriented architecture (SOA), enterprise software development, enterprise architecture, or similar. - Practical, demonstrated experience in one or more of the following: - Identity and Access Management (IdAM) - Understanding of basic Cloud architectures behind major commercial providers (i.e., Amazon, Google) - Cross-organization data sharing/information exchange - Enterprise IT transformation - Demonstrated leadership and/or relationship-building skills - DoD combatant command, service or agency (C/S/A) experience desired.
Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Ability to obtain a US Security clearance is required.
