Key Role: Provide IT strategy expertise, policy development analysis, and general strategic advisory services to assist the client and provide DoD-level guidance that supports implementing DoD data strategy and enterprise services on behalf of the Office of the DoD Chief Information Officer. Provide the expertise and leadership necessary to help our clients to achieve demonstrable improvements in the development and management of strategies related to information sharing and DoD enterprise services. Provide cross-functional IT strategy support to clients through efforts to support Enterprise Architecture, Portfolio Management, Policy and Guidance, and IT Acquisition. Provide guidance and oversight to Booz Allen staff in the delivery of project requirements. Apply interdisciplinary processes dealing primarily with systems engineering activities, including the identification of problems, deficiencies, and assessments and re-evaluation of current practices and systems across areas for enterprise strategy and planning, enterprise services oversight, Program Objective Memorandum (POM) issue support, data and IT policies, processes, and standards, and maturation of secure information sharing capabilities for DoD. Basic Qualifications: -2 years of experience in consulting with DoD -Experience with developing strategic documents -Knowledge of DoD CIO service offerings, including PfM, enterprise architecture, IT governance, information policy, or enterprise service -Ability to provide samples of written work products -Ability to work independently or lead tasks in formal and informal small group (2-4) settings -Secret clearance -BA or BS degree
Additional Qualifications: -Experience with gathering requirements or subject matter input related to IT policy and strategy development -Experience with developing and staffing formal DoD issuance, including memoranda, directives, instructions, or component-level strategy or architecture -Experience with developing DoD-wide or component-level policy, strategy, or guidance for DoD data strategy implementation, enterprise services adoption, or IT governance -Experience with DoD enterprise services and data sharing initiatives, including UCore, NCES, DoD Metadata Working Group, or authoritative data source development -Knowledge of current technology innovations, including SOA and Cloud Computing
Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.
