Echo Technologist (S207) Department: Electrocardiography Schedule: Full-time Shift: Day shift w/weekend rotation & on-call Hours: 7a-5:30p or 7:30a -6pm Job Details: - Technical Program or Degree required
General Summary: Performs Echocardiography technologist duties Supports the Mission of Trinity Health and Holy Cross Hospital.
Minimum Requirements: Graduate of AMA approved Ultrasonography Program. Certification by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI). Three years experience in performing echocardiography in a hospital setting. Certified in Basic Life Support. Reads, writes, speaks, and comprehends English language
Working Conditions: Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds, must be able to push, pull, and move patient care equipment (i.e. beds, stretchers, imaging equipment) and must be able to bend body downward at waist and must be able to stand. Visual Acuity: Must have visual acuity and manual dexterity to work with a computer keyboard and monitor, to perform essential job functions. Must be able to hear and verbally communicate with the telephone, for essential duties involving and receiving and giving information.
