Assembly
Position Description: Client Company in Manassas, VA is in need of an Assembler with prior experience in electronic assembly with special emphasis on hand soldering. Must be able to read, interpret and understand the instructions on process sheets, prints or route cards and related documents used for inspection of components, assemblies and subassemblies
2nd Shift
Requirements:
Skills Required: Minimum one (1) year of electronic assembly experience with emphasis on hand soldering. Must have experience in reading, interpreting and understanding the instructions on process sheets, prints or route cards and related documents used for inspection of components, assemblies and subassemblies. Must be able to use hand tools and it is critical to have experience in hand soldering of components to circuit card assemblies. Must have experience in visual and microscope inspection of circuit card assemblies, cables, and, some full unit assemblies to NASA 8739 standards. Must be able to identify electronic components and properly orient them into a circuit board according to polarity. Full ESD certification will be required completed on the job. Training will be provided as needed
Skills Preferred: Additional experience in completed assembly inspection is preferred. Training in other areas of assembly, such as, coating, underfill, cleaning, will be provided, as needed. Prior certification to NASA 8739.1, .2, .3 is preferred but can be acquired and a demonstration of skills will be necessary.
Experience Required: Minimum one (1) year of electronic assembly experience with emphasis on hand soldering.
Experience Preferred: Additional experience in completed assembly inspection is preferred.
