Position Summary
Envictus is looking for a permanent, part-time (15 hours per week) Accountant/Bookkeeper with a solid background in accounting who will be responsible for the billing of customers, processing of customer receipts, account management and debt collection, payment of supplier and contractor bills, processing of employee payroll, bank reconciliations and generation of monthly reports. This is an excellent opportunity if you desire a work schedule that allows for a 4-5 day/15 hours per week schedule.
The Ideal Candidate
* Advanced knowledge of QuickBooks, MS Excel and MS Office
* Demonstrated proficiency with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
* Experience working with ADP payroll services
* Excellent quantitative analysis skills with high attention to detail
* Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize job duties with minimal supervision
* Strong communication skills

Key Responsibilities
* Maintain financial records and prepare general ledger accounts
* Record purchases and accounts payable for payment
* Record sales invoices and accounts receivable
* Process bi-weekly payroll transactions, 401K transfers (ADP)
* Process employee expense reports
* Record inventory and receivables, fixed assets and depreciation
* Adjust and close entries
* Manage company bank checking and savings accounts and petty cash
* Routinely reconcile all company financial and bank accounts
* Create financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet and Statement of Cash Flow)
* Work with external tax accountants to process all federal, state and local tax returns
* Maintain accurate electronic and written records of all processed transactions
* Assist with budgets
* Assist with human resources, benefits management and administration
* Any additional duties as required

Minimum Requirements
* Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business or Finance
* At least 5 years’ working experience with QuickBooks, MS Excel and MS Office
* Bondable – must be able to pass background and reference checks
* Knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles
* Knowledge of federal and state financial regulations
* Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements and projections
* Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships
