Membership Clerk REPORTS TO: Branch Director/Program Director
HOURS: 11am - 7pm, Monday - Friday
Pay Rate: $14 / hour __________________________________________________________________________________________ PRIMARY FUNCTION: Under the direct supervision of the Branch director or Program Director, the Membership Clerk has the general responsibility for assuring accurate record keeping of attendance and membership information. KEY ROLES(Essential Job Responsibilities): * Maintain accurate daily records of membership and attendance information. * Make periodic statistical reports on membership, attendance, and dues/fees * Keep files related to membership, attendance, and dues/fees up to date * Greet/screen all club members and visitors and refer to appropriate staff. * Assure completion of membership application * Collect and record all fees connected with membership * Issue and submit daily summary report of membership receipts. * Prepare and issue membership cards * Instruct new members of BGCGW hours and use of membership card * Inform members, visitors, and parents of program options in the club. * Issue temporary membership card to members and passes to visitors * Contact members whose membership has or is about to expire * Monitor and supervise use of phone and public address system * Answer telephone calls; record and convey accurately * Assure daily clean-up and order of front counter area * Recommend and requisition supplies. * Maintain a thorough knowledge of all activities within the building and answer questions that may be directed to him/her in reference to club policies and procedures * Perform other duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS:A high school diploma or the equivalent. Experience working in youth development programs. Computer literate. Excellent interpersonal communications skills.
